If not stated otherwise, the photos are original images taken by me: in this case, please indicate the month and year of taking. Non-original images are acquired under licence, mainly Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Germany by Creative Commons and Wikimedia or from stock libraries and public sources such as the Bundesarchiv, the German digital archive or other European national archives.

AUDIO & MUSIC

The intro/outro music comes from Loudly.com, a platform that uses AI to create royalty-free music tracks. Sounds and audio effects are almost entirely self-produced or acquired royalty-free libraries or my original recordings.

The narrator's voice is mainly my own, joined by synthetic voices produced with ElevenLabs.

For my podcast, I rely heavily on Serge Pavkin's compositions, whom I highly recommend for his exceptional music library. I also incorporate classical and traditional music from royalty-free libraries.

Additionally, I occasionally use recordings I've captured at public exhibitions featuring traditional folk music in the public domain. In these cases, I carefully respect the performers' rights by using only brief segments. For added security, I verify all tracks through Google YT Studio.

For sound effects, I rely on royalty-free libraries and AI sound generation engines, including ElevenLabs. Which also means: I'm also the sound designer of my podcast, so please excuse any imperfections you might hear 🙂

VIDEO EMBED, LINK & QUOTES

The responsibility for the content to which I refer by means of video embeds from YouTube and other links is with the authors and publishers of the content. Except for quotations that are so well known that they can be found anywhere, I cite the main sources. For quotations of copyrighted works I refer to the European Copyright Directive.

The links I indicate as useful and interesting are my editorial choice, therefore arbitrary and based on my sensitivity to the topics I cover. Under no circumstances do I take responsibility for the sources themselves, nor do I participate in affiliate schemes.
